A talk about what sources are available online and in archive offices to help research Welsh ancestors during the 20th century, some researchers may have difficulty searching this period, therefore, the sources mentioned will help them get beyond brick walls and help solve some of the problems encountered. Data Protection and Copyright will also be touched upon.

Beryl Evans

I have worked at the National Library of Wales since 1985, working in various posts relating to family history and public services. At present I am the Research Services Manager. I have contributed to many radio and television programmes relating to family history over the years, as well as contributing and writing for various journals and magazines and giving talks on various aspects of Welsh family history. I am the Archives Liaison Officer for the Federation of Family History Societies; Chairman of Cardiganshire FHS; Executive member of the Association of Family History Societies of Wales, Dyfed FHS and Powys FHS.
