I’m David and I’m Sales Manager for the show which means that I work closely with, and look after, our show sponsor, Ancestry.com, our Feature Partners and the many companies, organisations and family history societies that will be exhibiting at Who Do You Think You Are? Live in 2014.

We’re proud of the fact that Who Do You Think You Are? Live is the largest family history show in the world and our exhibitors are also from all corners of the globe – many are based here in the UK but we have exhibitors from countries such as the USA, Belgium and even Australia, to name but a few.

Having taken over the role of Sales Manager back in May I was excited to learn that so many exhibitors are based overseas. I was, therefore, keeping my fingers crossed that this might lead to a number of exciting business trips but, sadly, we have a first class IT department and most of what I need to do can be dealt with by phone or email.

I did, however, have a fantastic trip over to Jersey back in the height of summer in order to meet one of our key feature partners  - the sun shone and Jersey looked at its very best so I can’t complain!

I’m bound to be biased but I must say that the 2014 show is coming together really well and you can be sure that there will be lots of amazing things to do and see – as usual, we have an excellent workshop programme, the ever popular Celebrity Theatre and we are thrilled that the Imperial War Museum has chosen to launch its “Lives of the First World War” project at the show. All in all, Who Do You Think You Are? Live 2014 really has so much to offer!.

There’s lots more exciting news to follow which we will share with you just as soon we can so keep reading the Blog and I look forward to meeting you at the show!
