Special Sunday Guest – Corries’s William Roache

William’s episode focused on his grandmother, Zillah Waddicor. He always knew Zillah ran a cafe in Alton Towers in the 1920s and 1930s, long before it became a theme park but, as William sets out to discover more about his grandmother, he is astonished to find out that the cafe was a far more ambitious enterprise and that, while overcoming a challenging personal life, Zillah was a trailblazing entrepreneur.

We are sure William will have some interesting tales to tell about his time on the programme and are very much looking forward to welcoming him to the show.

If you have any questions you would like to put to William, you can email Sarah Williams at sarah.j.williams@immediate.co.uk.
