Sunday brought to a close the UK's biggest genealogy event, it was a brilliant weekend with plenty of family discoveries! We all look forward to seeing you again next year in 2014!
The biggest family history
event...In the world!
William’s episode focused on his grandmother, Zillah Waddicor. He always knew Zillah ran a cafe in Alton Towers in the 1920s and 1930s, long before it became a theme park but, as William sets out to discover more about his grandmother, he is astonished to find out that the cafe was a far more ambitious enterprise and that, while overcoming a challenging personal life, Zillah was a trailblazing entrepreneur.
We are sure William will have some interesting tales to tell about his time on the programme and are very much looking forward to welcoming him to the show.
If you have any questions you would like to put to William, you can email Sarah Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can guarantee your seat by purchasing your ticket in advance at a cost of £2 when booking your ticket to the show. Please click here. Tickets are free to collect on the day from the Workshop Ticket Desk, located in the upstairs gallery. Please note all workshops are subject to capacity.
