There is always a buzz at this time of year in the Wall to Wall production office. We’re approaching the busiest time in our production schedule; filming and editing are well underway for the next run of programmes and the research never lets up. I can’t share the line-up just yet, but to say I’m proud of the names and stories we’ve got this year is an understatement.  Speaking of pride! The Live Event goes from strength to strength.  Our job is to produce the celebrities’ theatre shows and it’s always a real joy to invite old friends back to chat about their experiences. This year sees the return of some personal favourites of mine.
Colin Jackson’s was one of the first ever films I worked on.  It was a tough film for the team to research but with amazing results. For me Natasha Kaplinsky’s film is still one the most powerful stories we’ve told, and Larry Lamb has become a great friend of the show since we shot his episode.  Never shy to speak his mind, we’re looking forward to having him on stage along with the Production team, and hearing what he thinks about us and his Who Do You Think You Are? experience.  It’s a new twist for the celebrity theatre and we’re hoping for lots of great questions from the audience, so please get them ready. As always, Tess Dunlop will be on hand to referee and I think she’s got her hands full this year.
