It's show business!

Annie Dodd, Marketing Manager

It's very easy to get distracted from work with Christmas all around; there are decorations up in the office, talk of presents and the odd Christmas tune playing on the radio in the background. Christmas cheer has definitely set in!

It's a positive atmosphere to work in and that's reflected in our work on the show. We're busy ensuring that all the genealogy magazines are covering the show in details and sending out ticket offers and publicity through appropriate websites. We employ an external PR agency who are currently working with womens' monthly magazines to feature the show. They ensure it's included in all event listings and then look to national and regional press to cover the show and include ticket offers or competitions.

No Ho Ho Ho, It's Show Show Show!!

Mark Mulcahy, Events Marketing Assistant

The Christmas rush has begun but even this doesn't stop the marketing team from preparing for the show!

Like most of you, we have been left wondering where 2013 has gone. It'll be Christmas before we know it and, then, in no time at all, our eighth live show!

The marketing team has been hard at work to create new artwork for promoting the show and, of course, our much loved showguide.

The showguide will feature all of the essential information for the show as well as information on exhibitors, workshops and a floor plan of the show. We are always interested from our visitors on what more you need to help you get around at the show - your comments as always are welcome.

Space in a crowded place!

David Showler, Sales Manager

This week, we introduce you to David Showler, our Sales Manager for the show to give you an insight into the show in 2014!

Hi,

I’m David and I’m Sales Manager for the show which means that I work closely with, and look after, our show sponsor, Ancestry.com, our Feature Partners and the many companies, organisations and family history societies that will be exhibiting at Who Do You Think You Are? Live in 2014.

Tea, Cake & Hard work

With the countdown to the show having started, Mark from the marketing team brings you the latest news from the office

Tea Break

Another busy week has passed for the marketing team. My highlight of the week was attending the Good Food Show at the Olympia London. We wanted to attend the show to re-visit the venue and see how we can deliver you an even better show experience in 2014. Whilst we were there, we got the opportunity to meet the lovely Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood and the stars of the Great British Bake Off. This has only helped to encourage our love of tea and cake, so if any bakeries want to exhibit at the show, please get in touch!!

The Glitz and the Glamour of Carpet and Lighting!

Off we go!

How quickly times passes - already tickets are on sale for the eighth Who Do You Think You Are? Live.
