Society of Genealogists' Workshop Programme

The Society of Genealogist will be running an extensive programme of workshops by leading genealogists over the course of the three day show. Free to attend, you'll be able to choose from a vast number of subjects, for instance: different research techniques, how to record your findings and using parish registers.

Taking place in two theatres (SOG Studio 1 and SOG Studio 2), sessions last for approximately 45 minutes with a fifteen minute break inbetween. All workshops are free to attend* and subject to capacity - for this reason, you are able to pre-book a seat at your preferred workshops for just £2 when booking your tickets to the show.

The full workshop timetable for Scotland is available to view here.

Don't forget the Keynote Workshop** will talk place every day at 1.15pm - 2.30pm in SOG Studio 1.

Tickets are free* to collect on the day from the Workshop Ticket Desk, located in the far right corner of the hall. Please note, all workshops are subject to capacity. Please note, in case of unforeseen cancellation, an alternative workshop will be offered.

**Please note, tickets to the Keynote Workshop will cost £3 and are available in advance and on the day, subject to availability.
